Job Description
Conexant Systems?? Broadband Media Processing is looking for a Senior Program Manager to support our Convergence Video products. We??re looking for a courageous organizer who would be responsible for planning, leading, organizing and controlling several medium to large sized projects. This brave individual will develop and manage product schedules, resources, budget, and metrics. And is responsible for ensuring performance commitments are understood and achieved.

Additional duties would include:

• Works with the Product Team and functional management in determining the baseline parameters of the Project, including, but not limited to product cost, resource requirements, development budget, development process metrics, milestones and detailed schedules.

• Manages, monitors and organizes overall project execution, including, but not limited to, coordination of tasks within the core and extended teams, timely resolution of problems, tracking performance to schedule, negotiation of shared resources, and risk assessment and reduction.

• Provides information and feedback as necessary to team members and management (both written and verbal) detailing the status of the project, current/future issues, and contingencies/risks.

• Leads team members in analyzing and making engineering decisions. Provides technical direction to team members as required.

• Assists technical leads in overall management of design cycle.

• Assists Product Marketing Leads in assessing and tracking volume, revenue, gross margin, and pricing estimates.
Job Requirements :

BSEE or equivalent, plus 10 + years related experience developing/testing semiconductor products and 4+ years related experience leading medium and large sized, technical teams. Must possess a strong background in production operations and general business practices. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and good presentations skills. Strong leadership, team-building, facilitation, and organizational skills. Proven discipline with regard to following and improving processes. Ability to identify and resolve issues effectively and efficiently. Knowledge and prior application of general business concepts, i.e., time-to-market, gross margin, etc. Experience with Microsoft Office, Project and Web software necessary.
