请问mips中gprs什么意思啊？（新手问题）
老师让我们做CPU，今天看ID电路，里面有 总共有３２个gprs 到底是指什么啊？感觉和寄存器有关系。
跪求答案。
还有就是在网上看到
不知道MIPS/ARM有没有 register rename一说。 ISA中定义了多少GPRs， 和CPU实际提供了多少GPRs， 没多少关系（除了： 后者 >= 前者）。 Intel CPU集成度那么高，谁相信只有8个GPRs？
这GPRｓ 到底什么意思？
哪位大哥能指点迷津？
